Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Muir for Mrs. Evelyn McCracken, a 
lifelong resident of Lyons township, who died Saturday at the Hawley 
Convalescent Home in Muir.  She was 75. 

Born in November, 1879, Mrs. McCracken was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.W. 
Hensley of Lyons township.   Mrs. McCracken’s husband preceded her in death by 
several years.

Survivors include a nephew, Archie Bond of St. Johns, and a niece who lives at 
Lansing.  

Services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. from the Shaw-Rivett funeral home of 
Muir with Rev. Morris Horn of the Lyons Baptist church officiating.  Burial 
will be in Lyons cemetery.
