The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, September 29, 1943

Milton Peterson McCracken, 80, died Tuesday night at his home in Ionia 
township after an illness of several months.  He was born May 11, 1863, and is 
survived by his widow, Evelyn.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Shaw-Rivett 
chapel, Muir.  Rev. Faulkner Mercer will officiate and burial will be in Lyons 
cemetery.
