Lake Odessa Wave - June 20, 1946
           MRS. R. McCREERY DIIED SATURDAY

   Mrs. Roland McCreery, 69, died late Saturday evening at her home in the northeast
part of the village after a 
long illness.

   She was born in Barry county.  As a young woman she made her home near Hart,
Mich., where she was 
married to William Arnold.  They moved to Lake Odessa a number of years ago where he
died.  About 15 years 
ago she was married to Roland McCreery, who survives.  Three sons, Evart, Ray, and
Leon preceded her in 
death.

   Other survivors are two sons, Roy and Myrl Arnold at Watervliet; two sisters,
Mrs. William Luske in Grand 
Rapids and Mrs. Frank Darling, Lake Odessa; one brother Clarence Koob at
Vermontville; several nieces and 
nephew.

   Funeral services were held at the Pickens chapel Tuesday afternoon with the Rev.
Herbert Maguire 
officiating. Burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
