Phillip grew up in a loving & boisterous home with four brothers a & two sisters. He enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years & eventually developed a love for camping & fishing as well. Phillip retired after many years from the Boilermakers Local #169. He married Pamela Quasis on November 6 1971, They shared 51 years together. Preceded in death by his parent; brother,David McCrum; sister,Martha Herrington; brothers-in-law, Bob Blair & Robert Graur sisters-in-law, Joann & Cheryl McCrum. Survived by his loving wife,Pam McCrum; son, Michael McCrum; siblings, Paul (Nellie) McCrum, Mary Graur, James McCrum, and John (Jane) McCrum; in-laws, Tom Herrington, Barbara (William) Case, and Sandy Blair; many nieces and nephews and special friends, Chuck and Dawn Taube. Funeral ceremony will take place at Christian Memorial Gardens West, 521 E.Hamlin Road, Rochester Hills, MI, in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 19, 2022. The family will welcome visitors on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m at the Lehman funeral Home, 210 E.Bridge Street, Portland.
