Ralph A. McCrumb was born in Danby township, Ionia county, Jan. 30, 1856, and 
passed from this life Nov. 4, 1913, aged 57 years, 10 mo, 5 days, having been 
confined to his bed 5 weeks but had been in poor health for the past two 
years.  He was the son of Ralph L. and Hannah McCrumb of Danby and was one of 
nine children.

He was united in marriage to Ida E. Quackenboss of Sebewa in 1878.  To this 
union two children were born – Ida, who died in infancy, and Dawn, who survives 
him.

He was a member of the M. W. A. and also the I.O.O.F. lodges of Mulliken.

He leaves a wife, one daughter, Dawn, and one sister, of Hastings, Mich., and 
two brothers, one of Danby and one of Wellsboro, Pa., to mourn his loss, also 
many friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 6, conducted by Rev. A. E. Wynn.  
Interment in Danby cemetery.
