Portland - Valliere McCrumb, 75, of Portland died Aug. 2, 1997.

She was born July 21, 1922 in Vermont.  She was a member of Portland United 
Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Dennis C. (Mary) McCrumb of Kalamazoo; daughter-in-
law, Suzy (Robert) Debo of Bay City, two grandchildren, Chris and Craig 
McCrumb; one great-grandson, Maxwell; two brothers, Norman Winter of Portland 
and Donald Winter of DeWitt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arden; son, Gary, and daughter, 
Sandra.

Memorial services will be Thursday, Aug. 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Danby Cemetery in 
Danby Township with Rev. Scott Otis, pastor of Portland United Methodist 
Church, officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Portland United Methodist Church or 
the Ionia County Cancer Society.

The family is being served by Gorsline-Runciman Co. Neller Chapel.
