GERALD McCRUMB
Gerald McCrumb of Rockford, formerly of Houghton Lake.

Passed away October 20, 2017, at the age of 85. He was born in Ingham Co. on 
July 27 1932, the son of Dudley and Zola (Vanznadt) McCrumb. Gerald served his 
country in the United States Army in the Arm Security Agency during his time in 
Germany. He retired from general motors in 1988 after 37 years. Gerald was the 
former Portland VFW Commander and was a member of the American Legion in 
Houghton Lake.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maria; daughters, Brigitte (Douglas) 
Kyes, Linda (Dr. John) Jameson and Patricia (Larry) Pizarek; grandchildren, Dr. 
Andrew (Jill) Jameson, Aaron (Shannon) Jameson, Dr Rachel (Brett) Hopkins, Ann-
Marie Kyes, Matthew Kyes, Sarah Kyes, Kimberly (Jake) Richert-Boe, Lisa (Corey) 
Green, Michael Pizark and & great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Peters and 
Murray Funeral Home, 301 E. Jefferson. St. Grand Ledge, Mi. 48837. Visitation 
will be held one hour prior. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be 
made to Capital Area Humane Society 7095 W. Grand River Ave,. Lansing, Mi. 
48906, in memory of Gerald McCrumb. Online condolences may be shared at
