She was born in Ionia August 20?, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Shively, and had lived most of her life in Belding. Mrs. McCue was a member of the Church of Christ at Belding. She was married to Fred McCue, who preceded her in death two years ago. Besides her foster-daughter, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ida Erridge and Mrs. Emma Miller. Two children died in infancy. Funeral service will be held at the Fitzjohn funeral home in Belding, Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will be at River Ridge cemetery. The Rev. Curch, former pastor of the Belding Church of Christ, will officiate. ----- Funeral for Mrs. Willa McCue, 90, of Belding, who died at the home of her foster-daughter, Mrs. Maurice Clements, October 27, was held at the Fitzjohn funeral home October 30. Interment was in River Ridge cemetery, Belding. Bearers were Robert Howe, Herschel Rouse, Martin Engeman, Harry Rollo, Lawrence Rummel and Elton Bunting. Rev. H. S. Ellis officiated. She had been quite active for one of her years and had lived at her home in Belding until recently when she had come to spend the winter with her foster- daughter and family, Mrs. Maurice Clements of Orleans. She was a member of the Belding Church of Christ and the Royal Neighbors.
