Sentinel-Standard - Friday, June 11, 1965

Funeral service will be Saturday in Lansing for Allan A. McCurdy, 71 of 
Cascade, a retired business and industrial leader, who died Thursday.

McCurdy, who was connected with the National Bank of Ionia in about 1933, was 
first vice president of the Bank of Saginaw and later became an examiner of 
state banks of Michigan and Texas.

He reorganized and managed five large industrial concerns in Illinois and 
Indiana during and after World War II, and was on the Board of directors of 
Jervis Corp., Tensas Delta Land Company of Shreveport, La. and James D. Lacey 
company, a Chicago timber firm.
