          EDITH E. McDANIEL

   LAKE CITY -- Mrs. Edith E. McDaniel, 74, formerly of Lake Odessa and Lansing died
May 27 at a Lake City 
foster care home.

   Mrs. McDaniel was born December 19, 1907 in Vestaburg, a daughter of Samuel and
LouAnn (Ross) 
Bollinger.  Her husband, Walter, preceded her in death in 1978.

   She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lake Odessa.

   Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Giffen of Lake City, Mrs. Mildren
Jennings of Riverside, Calif., 
and Mrs. Karen Brace of Mulliken.  Three sons, Eugene McDaniel of Lansing.  Roger
and Richard McDaniel, 
both of Riverside, Calif., 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one sister,
Mrs Jenney Woods of 
Vestaburg.

   Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Barker-Leik Funeral Home in Mulliken
with Rev. John Morse of 
the Sunfield United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment was in Deepdale
Memorial Park in Lansing.
