Ionia Sentinel, 8 May 1961

Funeral service was conducted at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon for William H. 
McDonald, 75, of 824 West Lincoln avenue, who died Thursday at his home.  The 
Rev. Ray R. Fassett, pastor of Zion EUB church, officiated and interment was at 
Balcom cemetery.

Bearers were William Adgate, Eugene Hackett, Maxwell Hazzard, Foy McDonald, Ray 
McDonald and Douglas Sherwood.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Bissell, Mr. and Mrs. Foy 
McDonald, Ray McDonald and Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Hazzard of Grand Rapids; Mr. 
and Mrs. Ben Hazzard, Mr. and Mrs. Ceal Torrey, Mr. and Mrs. Frank McDonald and 
Bert McDonald of Lake Odessa; Mrs. Leighton Scott and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Roush 
of Charlotte, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Fagan of Flint, Mr. and Mrs. LaRue McMillen 
of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Shook of Mt. Pleasant.
