The funeral of Geo. McDonald was held at the family home, 829 West Main street, Thursday afternoon. The singing service was by Mrs. Eugene Smith, Mrs. Sylvester Allured and Mr. Baker. Officiating minister, Rev. Alex. W. Dodge, who preached from the text, "The day of one's death is better than the day of one's birth." Ecc. 7:1. Mr. McDonald is spoken of as an excellent man in every respect, who had lived a most exemplary life, having been an earnest Christian and member of the Baptist church, 34 years. He leaves his widow and two children to mourn his death. Card of Thanks. I wish to thank the Metropolitan Life Insurance company, of which F. E.
