Belding Banner-News, 2 May 1968

Leighton E. McDonald, 78, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter at 6248
Palmer Road.  Mr. McDonald was born April 26, 1890 at Cedar Springs.  He had
been a resident of the Belding area for the past 50 years.

He was married to the former Helena First in 1915.  She preceded him in death in
1960.

Survivors are one daughter Mrs. Donald (Virginia) Frisbie, one son Frederick E.
McDonald of Ada, two sisters Mrs. Alvah Snyder and Mrs. Lela Minzey, five
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home.  Rev.
Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church will officiate.  Interment will be in
Otisco cemetery.
