Ionia Sentinel - Thurs. Nov. 22, 1900

T. S. McDonald died Monday at his room at Batson's hotel. He was about 43 years 
of age and has been about town since last June. It is understood his home is in 
Waterbury, Conn., where his remains will be taken by his parents. He has a 
sister, Essie McDonald at 87 Broadway, New York, she is a singer in a New York 
cathedral. He also has another sister, Mrs. W.F. Kennedy, who has responded to 
a telegram announcing the death. McDonald has followed the race tracks in the 
past. He had been sick about two weeks of pneumonia.
