                     Death Claims Former Mill Janitor

Death claimed Elihu McDonald, 75, a the home of his daughter, Mrs.Alvah Snyder, 
Crawford St., Tuesday morning following a long illness. The deceased was born in 
Kent county and has made this locality his home. Before coming to Belding, 
Mr.McDonald was engaged in farming. Here he was janitor for many years in the 
White Mill.

Surviving besides the widow, Mrs. Lidiah McDonald, are two sons, Laton, of 
Belding and Frank, of Reed City; also three daughters; Mrs.Don Strong, 
Blanchard; Mrs.Lela Minzey, and Mrs.Alvah Snyder, of this city, and a sister, 
Mrs.Jerry Welch of Cedar Springs.

Funeral services will be held at the Fitzjohn Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 
2:30. Burial will be in the Otisco Cemetery. An Adventist minister from Grand 
Rapids will officiate.
