Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 May 1945

Mrs. Fern McDonald, 61, died Sunday at her home in Easton.  Services will be held
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Myers funeral home with interment at
Highland Park cemetery.  Dr. Paul Stewart will officiate.  Mrs. McDonald was born
April 10, 1884 in Easton.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fosburg; her husband, John
McDonald; four children, Mrs. F.C. Bissell of Breckenridge, Faye McDonald of Grand
Rapids, Lucille Mahulka of Traverse City and Roy of Easton; a sister, Mrs. Katherine
Simmons, and eight grandchildren.
