Funeral services for Mrs. Fern McFadden, 49, were held at the Nazarene church 
Wednesday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Isaac Philo, of Lansing.  Burial was made 
in Portland cemetery.

Mrs. McFadden was a former resident of Portland, leaving here a number of years 
ago for Lansing where her death occurred Sunday.  She is survived by one brother, 
Bert Mannering, of Lansing, and one sister, Mrs. Effie Kirby of that city with 
whom she lived.  She was a cousin of Pert Lumbert, of Portland.
