The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 30, 1956

Funeral services were held Saturday for George McGinn, 76, of Hubbardston, 
former Ionia county North Plains township supervisor, who died last Wednesday 
in St. Lawrence hospital in Lansing.  

Services were held at the St. John the Baptist church at Hubbardston.  Burial 
was at the church cemetery. 

Surviving are two daughters, Maureen of Hubbardston and Mrs. Helen McKenna of 
Lansing; four sons, George Jr. of Ionia, John of Lansing, Raymond of Fenwick, 
and Patrick of Hubbardston; two sisters, Patience and Ann of Hubbardston and 
13 grandchildren.
