She was helping her family get ready for church when she was stricken. Margaret Loretta O’Connell was born August 22, 1889, in Hubbardston, and married to George McGinn 35 years ago. She is survived by her husband, and six children, Rose Maureen, Jack, George, jr., Helen, Raymond and Patrick; a brother, James O’Connell; five sisters, Mrs. Anna McMillan, Mrs. Katherine O’Brien of Hubbardston; Mrs. Raymond O’Connell of Rosebush; Mrs. Rex Hafer of Carson City, and Sister Mary Karen of the Dominican Order, Rockwood, Mich. Rev. E.R. Fox officiated at the Requiem High Mass in St. John the Baptist church, at ten o’clock Wednesday morning, June 4. Rev. William J. Flannigan, of Lansing, a former pastor at Hubbardston, preached the sermon. Pall bearers were John Burk, Charles Cusack, James McKeone, John Datema, Erwin Roach and Perry Hogan. Burial was in St. John the Baptist cemetery.
