Mrs. Margaret A. McGriff, 81, died Tuesday at the residence of her daughter, 
Mrs. John Mays, 5911 Storey Road.  She was born in Greenville, Ohio May 1, 1878 
and her usual residence was in Portland, Ind.  She was a member of the Church 
of Christ.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Mays, R. 3, where she had been for 
the past month and who had cared for her in her illness.  She also leaves two 
sons, Merrill McGriff of Portland, Ind., and Robert McGriff of Gibson City, 
Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Harrison Spade, Middletown, Ohio; two brothers, Wesley 
Miley, Portland, Ind. and Harry Miley, Indianapolis, Ind.; five grandchildren 
and 10 great grandchildren.

The body was at Huffman Funeral Home but was removed later to Darwin Williamson 
Funeral Home in Portland, Ind. where services were held Friday with burial in 
Green Park cemetery there.
