Steven Leroy McIntire, 73, of Lake Odessa passed away February 11, 2014 in Lake 
Odessa.  He was born November 25, 1940 in Athens, Indiana the son of Charles 
and Julie (Livchak) McIntire. 

Steven married Patricia Nawrocki May 2, 1964 in Lowell.  He served in the Navy 
during Vietnam.  He was stationed in Antarctica for Operation Deep Freeze 
squadron VX6.  Steven was an over the road truck driver until retiring in 
2004.  He enjoyed riding ATV’s, Jet Ski’s and spending time with his dog 
Rocko.  He could fix anything.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Patricia McIntire of Lake 
Odessa; daughter, Debra (Tracey) Carigon of Lake Odessa and Tina (Seamus) 
Delvin of Ionia; brother, Neil (Betty) McIntyre of Indiana and grandchildren, 
Owen Delvin and Morgan Delvin.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Military services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Lake Funeral Home of Ionia, 
with visitation to follow until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial 
contributions may be made to Saranac American Legion.
