October 17,1974 HOMER G. McINTOSH Homer G. McIntosh, 83, of 515 Pearl, Belding, was found dead at his residence by Belding police Wednesday afternoon. Police were notified by McIntosh's son. He had tried a couple days to phone his father receiving only bust signals. Police found the phone off the hook. He was born August 24, 1891, at Ionia and had lived in New York and Detroit coming to Belding in 1949. He was a retired steel construction engineer, and veteran of World War I. His wife, Mary died June 12, 1969. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs.Sarah Brown of Garden City, Lillian McIntosh of Troy and Mrs Mary Ellen Powers of Lincoln Park; son, Donald McIntosh of Waterford; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother, Ernest McIntosh of St.Petersburg, Fla. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 pm. at the Charles M.Courser Funeral Home at Belding. Re. Fr.Charles Steves will officiate and interment will be at River Ridge Cemetery, Belding. Visitation hours will be Thrusday from 7 to 8:30 and Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 8:30 pm.
