December 18, 1958 MYRTLE MC INTYRE DIED SATURDAY Funeral services were held Saturday, December 6 at the Leonard Funeral Home, Hastings for Mrs.Myrtle Mae McIntyre, 82, widow of the late Dr.Charles B. McIntyre.Burial in Riverside cemetery. She passed away at Pennock hospital, a few minutes after admittance on Thursday. Well known through out the area, she was a former teacher and later while at Woodland helped establish the woodland Woman's Club and a former member of the Hastings Club and Pythian Sisters. A native ofBarry county, she was a graduate of the Nashville high school and attended Ferris Institute before becoming a teacher. She married Mr.McIntyre in Woodland and they resided there while he practiced medicine, moving to Hastings in 1919. He passed away in 1938. Surviving are a son Dr.Charles H.McIntyre of Downey, California; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
