Peter & Paul, on Thursday morning, was a beautiful expression of the loving esteem in which the young lady was held. She was long one of the operators at the Bell exchange, and made and held many friends, who are grieved at her departure so early in life. She was aged 23 years. The discourse by Rev. Fr. Hugh McCarthy included a splendid tribute to the estimable character of deceased. The floral tributes were many and very beautiful. The widowed mother, four sisters and one brother are left to mourn the death of her who was so dear to them. Interment was at Hubbardston. The carriers were John Sheehan, Joe Rose, Frank Frost, John Kennedy, James Ikener, and Fred Fitzgerald. Miss Margaret McIntyre died at her home on East Front street, on New Year’s day. She was a girl of a high type of character, and a loving and cheerful disposition which won her many friends. During her long illness she never murmured nor complained, but bore her suffering with the greatest patience. Margaret was born in Hubbardston, February 25, 1883 where she lived until two years ago when she came to Ionia. Card of Thanks: We wish to express our sincere thanks to the neighbors and friends, who so kindly assisted us during the sickness and death of our beloved daughter and sister; also for the beautiful floral pieces.
