Funeral services will be conducted at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock by Rev. G. J. Fairbanks, of Ovid, a former Methodist Episcopal minister of Saranac. Mr. McKay was the son of pioneers of Keene, Mr. and Mrs. Robert McKay. He had spent his life in Ionia county, living in Keene on a farm, in Portland 12 years while employed as a telegraph operator, and recent years in Saranac. His first wife died in April. He is survived by his second wife, to whom he was united in marriage September 16; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Abbott, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Albert Ellison, of Ionia. He was a member of the Saranac Congregational church.
