The Ionia County News, Thursday, March 12, 1931
Mrs. Edward McKay, 56, died early yesterday morning in Blodgett hospital of 
diabetis and complications following several months of severe illness and 
confinement to the house for six months.

She was born in Portland and had lived in Ionia county all her life with 
residence in Portland, Keene township and Saranac.  She had lived in the 
latter place the last 15 years.  She was a member of the Congregational church.

Her husband and uncle and aunt, Portland residents, survive.
