Deceased was born and raised near Brantford, Ont., and came to Keene about 40 years ago, where he has since lived upon the fine farm which he has cleared up and improved from a wilderness as he found it. Besides numerous relatives he is survived by a widow and four children – two sons and two daughters, George, the eldest son, joins farms with his father’s; Eddie, the youngest, occupies the homestead. The daughters are Mrs. Albert Ellison and Mrs. Frank Abbot, of the same neighborhood. Mr. McKay was about 68 years of age.
