                            Grand River Yields Body

The body of David McKellips, aged 40 years was recovered from Grand River near 
the Michigan Soldiers Home, at Grand Rapids, Monday, after having been in the 
water since May 15th, when McKellips lost his life through drowning when a boat 
in which he and a companion were attempting to cross the river, capsized. 
McKellips was a brother of Russell McKellips, for some years a resident of this 
city frequently visited at the home of his brother during the latter's residence 
here.
