Robert McKendry, and Ionia County farmer for many years, died Saturday evening 
at 7:30 of apoplexy, the death coming suddenly though he had been in poor 
health for several years. He was 75 years old. For the last two years he has 
made his home in Ionia, living on Harter Street, the change to the city being 
made on account of his health. His wife and three children survive – Mrs. Elmer 
Cowan of Ionia, Mrs. Ed Bradford of Keene and John McKendry of Easton.
