McKENDRY, ROYCE:  
   IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, MI, 10-28-1963, page 2:  "Deaths - ROYCE E. McKENDRY
- Funeral services for Royce E. McKendry will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2
o'clock at First Methodist church in Ionia.
   Mr. McKendry, 52, of route three, Easton township, died Saturday morning in a
Grand Rapids hospital following a lengthy illness.
   He was born January 14, 1911, in Easton township, the son of John and Irma
McKendry.  He attended Dildine school and was graduated from Ionia high school
in 1930.  He held memberships in the Farm Bureau, Michigan Milk Producers
association and was a member of First Methodist church of Ionia.
   Surviving are his wife, Ammie; two daughters, Sue and Patsy; two sons, Norman
and Arthur, all at home; his mother, Mrs Irma McKendry; four sisters, Mrs
Lillian Haddock, Mrs Leo Fuller, Mrs Douglas Welch and Mrs Edwin Yeomans; three
brothers, Harold McKendry, and Elmer of Ionia and Edgar of Palo.
   Mr McKendry reposes at the family home until Tuesday noon when his body will
be transferred to First Methodist church for services at 2 p.m.  Rev. Harold
Jayne will officiate and burial will be at Easton cemetery.
   Arrangements were made by Stone-Kauffman funeral home."
