CARSON CITY - Dorothy A. McKenna, 69, of Carson City, died March 9, at her home.

She was born July 28, 1917, in Calhoun County, Michigan the daughter of Charles 
and Augusta Miler Rundle. 

She married Nicholas Royal McKenna July 20, 1940. He preceded her in death in 
1972.

She was employed at Carson City Hospital for 20 years.

She is survived by four daughters, Dr. Janis Reynolds of Mt. Pleasant, Judith 
Shae of East Jordan, Alice Butella of Port Huron, and Bonnie McKenna of New 
Orleans; five sons, Philip of Detroit, Peter of Lennon, Mich., Stephen of 
Langsburg, Leo of Belding and Warrant Officer Edward, stationed with the U.S. 
Army in West Germany; three sisters, Ellen Pantaleo of Albion, Florence 
Harrison of Marysville, and Esther Gilger of Howe, Indiana; one brother, Clare 
Rundle of Sheridan; and, 16 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic 
Church in Carson City, the Rev. William Reitz, officiating. 

Burial will be at Maryknoll Cemetery.

Rosary services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at the Schnepp Funeral Home 
in Carson City.

The family will be at the funeral home until 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

A memorial will be established in McKenna’s name by the family.
