          LAKESIDE SUMMER RESIDENT DIED AT LANSING HOME MON.

                                              ----------------------

   Richard S. McKenna, 43, died suddenly from a heart attack at his home in Lansing
early Monday morning.  
He with Mrs. McKenna and their three children has spent his summers at their cottage
on the north side of 
Jordan lake here for the past eight years.

   Mr. McKenna was a star salesman for the Wheaton Chemical Co. at Lansing having
had western Michigan as 
his territory.  

   He is survived by the widow and three children Patricia, Judy and Kirk.  Funeral
services were held in 
Lansing, Wednesday afternoon, and burial was in Lakeside cemetery here.

   Among those from here who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Edgar,
Mr. and Mrs. Myrl E. 
Doty, Mr. and Mrs. Alva R. Tingley and Mrs. T. M. Strong.
