It was that of Mrs. S. A. McKimball, who leaves a husband and nine children, the oldest not to exceed 16, the youngest a pair of twins only a few hours old at the time of the death of the mother. The family are in very straitened circumstances, and homes will have to be provided for the younger ones. The funeral was held Tuesday at the Baptist church, and was largely attended. Conducted by the pastor, Rev. D. B. Munger. Many in attendance remarked it was the saddest occasion they ever witnessed. Subsequent Publication: Friday, March 8, 1889 Mr. M. C. Kimball, whose wife died a short time since, has been obliged to secure homes for his children. The following persons have kindly opened their homes for the unfortunate children. S. Briggs, Thos. Hall, L. Wright, Chas. Wilson, Fred Smith, Thos. Wilder and Mrs. H. Van Vleck. There is yet one boy about 12, yet to be provided for. They are a nice quiet lot of children, and we are glad to know they have secured so good homes.
