Ionia Daily Sentinel, 17 Dec 1957

Benjamin D. McKimball, 71, of route two, Fenwick, died Monday evening.  He was 
born January 11, 1886 in Ronald township to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel McKimball and 
attended Palo school.

Mr. McKimball lived most of his life in Ionia county and lived at the present 
residence for 23 years.  He was married June 28, 1936 to Esther Minier and he 
was a member of the Palo Methodist church.

Surviving are his wife, Esther; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hulburt of Kalamazoo 
and Mrs. Lula Stockbridge of Fort Wayne, Ind.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Palo Methodist church Thursday afternoon 
at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Harold Cox officiating.  Interment will be in Palo 
cemetery.  The body is at the Phelps funeral chapel where it will remain until 
12 o’clock Thursday and will then be removed to the church.
