Mrs. McKimball found him lying in the coop a few minutes after he was stricken. Mr. McKimball had lived in Ronald and Bushnell townships virtually all of his life. He was employed four years as janitor at the Ionia Masonic temple until the time of the fire in 1930. He was a member of the Palo lodge, F.and A.M. He is survived by his wife, Alice, and brothers, Ben McKimball, of Flint; Leon, of Sunfield; Byron, of Los Angeles, Cal., and Ora Jenks, of Belding; three sisters, Miss Pearl McKimball, of Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Minnie Hulbert, of Detroit; Mrs. Lulu Dean, of Detroit. Funeral services will be held from the home in Ronald township Sunday, December 29, at 1:30 o’clock, and at the Palo Baptist church at 2 o’clock, with interment at the Palo cemetery.
