Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Apr 1989

Jon R. McKinch, 47, of 2811 W. Lincoln Ave., Ionia died suddenly April 19 in
Saranac.  He was born Oct. 26, 1941, the son of Bert and Letha Slade McKinch. 
He has lived in Ionia the past 15 years.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah, of Ionia, two sons, Mark and Matthew, at
home; two brothers, Donald McKinch of Ionia and Ronald McKinch of Utah; three
sisters, Kathleen Ornsby of Cheboygan, Barbara Wilson of Harrietta, and Edith
Burton of Yuma, Mich.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in
Saranac with Rev. Glenn Perry of the Portland Baptist Church officiating. 
Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and
relatives Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
