                         Local Man, Dies In Sleep

Neil McKnight, 74, died in his sleep June 9th at his home at 739 Moulton street 
where he lived with Mr.and Mrs.Clarence Currie.He had retired at the usual time 
and it was thought that death came as a result of a heart failure at about 2 
a.m.

He was born at Port Huron, Feb. 22, 1873, and had followed the logging camps in 
his younger years. Since living here he was a watchman at the hosiery Mill until 
eight years ago.

So far as is known his only relative is a brother,John, of Galien.

Funeral services will be held at the Ellis Funeral Home at 1 o'clock, Rev. 
H.S.Ellis officiating, and burial will be in River Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers 
will be Nick Geisen, George Joslin, William Drier, Fred Schultz, Charles 
Loveland and Myron Campbell.
