Ionia Standard, 22 Oct 1895

Mrs. Hugh McLary died at her home at Gladwin, on the 11th inst., after only a
short illness.  She was best known in Ionia, where she was married, and her
former home, as Barbary Shaffer.  She had many warm friends here.  She leaves
two children, both boys, one aged 3 years and 5 months, and the other a baby of
5 months.
