The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, December, 1992

Memorial services for Melissa Ann (Missy) McLaughlin, 25, of Wixom, who 
formerly lived in Ionia, Belding and Greenville, will be held at First Baptist 
Church of Ionia, 116 West Main Street, Tuesday at 11 a.m.  

She died in Charleston, S.C., Dec. 30, 1992.  She was born Sept. 4, 1967, in 
Ionia.  

Surviving are her parents, Clair and Patricia McLauchlin, and sister Mandy of 
Wixom; a brother, Richard, of Sarasota, Fla.; a step-sister, Nancy McLauchlin 
of Coopersville; a grandmother, Mary I. McLauchlin of Sturgis, and her fiancé, 
John Owen of Charleston.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in the spring.  Memorials may be made 
to First Baptist Church.
