Belding Banner-News, 2 Jan 1930

Word has been received from Mrs. Charles Eddy, of Detroit, concerning the death
of Mrs. Nancy McLaughlin of Missoula, Montana.  About six weeks ago her son,
Robert McLaughlin, husband of Lela Eddy McLaughin, passed away very suddenly and
it is thought the shock of his death caused that of his mother.  We understand
Mrs. McLaughlin made her home with her son, Robert and family.

Mr. McLaughlin leaves his wife and five children, Robert, jr., Mary Jean,
Joseph, Betty and Susie Jane, also a sister, Mrs. Rose Sears.  The McLaughlin
family were former residents of Orleans and Belding and many old time friends
will be saddened to learn of their deaths.
