Lakewood News - March 24, 2012

Taylor, MI- Nelson McLaughlin, age 67, of Lake Odessa, passed away Wednesday, 
March 21, 2012 in Taylor.

He was born January 9, 1945 in Lake Odessa, the son of Arden and Thelma 
(Vandecar) McLaughlin. 

Nelson graduated from Lake Odessa High School and was employed as a truck 
driver. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Suzanne Taschereau; and 
granddaughter, Taylor Taschereau.

Surviving is his daughter, Stephanie McLaughlin; grandchildren, Cale Holley,  
Joshua Holley, Kristin Ouellette; step granddaughter, Melissa Holley; brother, 
Carlton McLaughlin.

Visitation with the family will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 
2012 at Koops Funeral Chapel - Lake Odessa, followed by a funeral service at 2 
p.m. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.
