William J. McLaughlin, 80, died Friday afternoon at Ionia Community hospital 
after a brief illness.  He made his home in the Jack block and was a former 
stationery engineer.

Surviving are one step-daughter, Mrs. Eugene Bugbee, of Ionia Township; two 
sisters, Mrs. Allen Hughes of Bay City and Mrs. John Chambers of Detroit; and 
two grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the Bradley funeral home 
and at 9 a.m. from SS. Peter and Paul church in Ionia.  Rev. Fr. John S. Fons 
will officiate and interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
