Ionia County News, 4 Jan 1951

Russell McLean died at his home on State Road Friday evening, Dec. 29.  He was 43
years old and had been seriously ill about ten days.  Mr. McLean was born in
Jackson, August 12, the son of Harry and Bessie McLean.  He was a member of the
First Baptist church and of the Banner Grange.

Surviving are the parents Mr. and Mrs. Harry McLean; one sister, Mrs. Kathryn
Selleck; two nieces, Carolyn and Marcia, and a nephew, Harry, of Ionia.

Funeral service was held from the Boynton funeral home Tuesday afternoon.  Rev.
George Wilson of Gregory, assisted by the Rev. William Pixley of Ionia, officiated. 
Burial was in Forest Home cemetery in Greenville.  Bearers were William, Robert,
Philip and Carl Wise, Earl Woodard and Alvin Heppe.  Flowers were in charge of Mrs.
Walter Yeomans, Mrs. L.E. Hicks and Marjorie Yeomans.
