Mr. McLeod was born in Lyons November 26, 1853, and lived at Collins for some years. His parents died when he was a young man. In 1878 he was married to Lena Marsh of Orange, and following a residence of several years in Gratiot county, they came to the present farm in Orange. They attended LeValley church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Weed, Mrs. Seymour Gates of Orange, and Mrs. Leo Worden of Caro; two sons, Norman of Missoula, Mont., and Guy of Orange, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Marian Ranger of Lyons and Mrs. D. E. Phetteplace, of Portland. Funeral arrangements are awaiting word from the son in Missoula.
