Feb. 25, 1927 ORANGE PIONEER PASSES AWAY AT HOME WEDNESDAY Mrs. Norman McLeod Died On Farm Where She Was Born, Funeral On Friday Mrs. Norman McLeod, 75, well known resident of Orange township passed away at her home Wednesday morning, following a brief illness. She was born on the farm on which she died and had lived there her entire life time, with the exception of seven years, when she lived in Gratiot county. She had been an active worker in the LeValley M.E. church and Sunday school as her health would permit. The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon from the LeValley M.E. church with the Rev. C.E. Thies in charge. Winchell & Stone are the officiating undertakers and interment will be made in Tuttle cemetery. She is survived by her husband and five children, Mrs. Seymour Gates and Norman McLeod, Jr., Orange township; Guy McLeod, Mulliken; Mrs. Leo Worden and Mrs. Ota Weed of Ionia township.
