He was born July 20, 1935 in Shelby to Burdette and Estena (Struder) McLouth. He was raised in Shelby and married Dorothy Lipski on Jan. 28, 1956. Charles (Chuck) worked very hard throughout his life. He started working at his parents’ skating rink, which he enjoyed very much and was also where he met his wife. He then tried his hand at many occupations until he found his calling in the construction pipeline industry, which included work on the construction of the pipeline in the Florida Keys. He most recently worked at Kamphuis Pipeline in Grand Rapids. During his life he was very close to his family and enjoyed hanging out with his brothers. Chuck also always loved spending time with his friends. Chuck is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his children, Mary (Ed) Spears, Tom (Debbie), Alice (Tracey) Lamrock, Jamie (Kim), Vicki Knott and Dustin; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; his sisters Martha Fuce, Lawain (Jeff) Werner and Debbie (Tom) Beyer, and his sister-in-law, Judy McLouth. He was preceded in death by three of his children, Shirley, Leonard and Roy; his parents; his brothers, Lyle (Carol, Jack (Mary Ellen), Keith, and Patrick; and his brother-in-law Ken Fuce. A memorial service will be held at the Methodist Church in Shelby at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13.
