McMillan, 92, of Hubbardston, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Country Friends AFC in Sumner. She was born March 2, 1921 in Clinton County the daughter of Guttlieb and Anna (Weitzel) Schaefer. She graduated from St. John the Baptist Catholic High School and married Robert McMillan on May 20, 1939. Rosaline worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the Carson City Hospital for over 25 years before her retirement. She thoroughly enjoyed her work. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston. Rosaline was a Charter Member of the Hubbardston Historical Society and a Life Member of the Hubbardston American Legion. She enjoyed playing bingo, socializing with friends and the many bus trips she took. Rosaline especially loved spending time with her family and going to the lake. She is survived by her children; Joanne (Max) Pinkney of Pewamo, Leo (Diane) McMillan of Hubbardston, Pat (Doug) Campbell of Hubbardston and Francis (Kathy) McMillan of Hubbardston, 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren and her siblings; Carl J. (Rita) Schaefer of Pewamo, Kathleen Eisler of St. Johns and Monica Howard of Caledonia, sister-in-law; Florence Behan of Ft. Lauderdale and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston with Fr. Doug Osborn officiating. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-7 p.m. at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home with a Prayer Service and Rosary being held at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Sparrow Home Hospice.
