                              JOHN ALEX McMILLAN

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Huffman funeral Home for John 
Alex McMillan, 55, of 422 Hambrook Street.

Rev. Otto Wegner officiated. Interment was at Clear Lake Cemetery, Fenwick.

Mr. McMillan died January 2 at Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids following a 
lingering illness.

He was born July 22, 1913 at Trout Lake, the son of John and Bessie (Butler) 
McMillan

He was married to the former Mildred Huffman April 15, 1935 at Trout Lake.

Mr.McMillan was a trucker for Detroit Casket Company and a memer of local 4, 
UAW.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters Mrs.Bobby (Dorven) Kochenower of 
Provo, Utah, Mrs. Roger (Deora) Jeffers of Fenwick, Mrs.William (Sally Ann) 
Slocum of Sheridan and Cathey at home; and four sons Merlyn John, Dugal, Louis 
and William all of Belding.

Also surviving are three sisters Mrs.Burdette Edmonds of Belding, Mrs.Thomas 
Spencer of Trout Lake and Mrs.Johan Noha of Florida, a brother Dougald of Trout 
Lake and 12 grandchildren.
