Ionia Standard – Friday, 22 July 1904

Geo. P. McMillen died Monday afternoon, at age of 56.  He had been a resident 
here only three or four months, coming from Portland.  His two sons, George H. 
and Benjamin F., are proprietors of the Lake Odessa Times, and were here 
Tuesday pm making arrangements for funeral, which was at the home, 136 E. 
Front Street at 2:30 pm Wednesday.  Decedent leaves also a wife and daughter, 
Miss Lola, whose home has been with her parents.
