She had been ill for several weeks in Blodgett hospital, Grand Rapids, and returned to her home, 650 West Main street, a few days before her death. Miss McMullen was born in Ionia, May 11, 1861, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George McMullen. She observed her seventy-eighth birthday anniversary two weeks ago. For a number of years she served as assistant librarian at the Hall-Fowler library. She is survived by cousins, E. S. Yeomans, Frank Yeomans, of Ionia, and Mrs. Adelaide Hughes of Flint and a nephew, Harry Collins of Detroit. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. George W. Woolcock of the Ionia Baptist church, at 2:30 Monday afternoon, May 22, from the home. Burial was in Highland Park cemetery. Pall bearers were Fred Wortman, Harry J. Callow, Dr. F. M. Marsh, E. W. Krainbrink, M.D. McNamara and Harvey Phillips.
